New York City FC midfielder Kwadwo Poku has been nominated for Major League Soccer Goal of the Week for Week 25.
Left back Angelino played a ball forward to Poku in the middle of the field. The Ghanaian midfielder made a nice one-touch pass to David Villa to his side before turning on a defender and sprinting forward. Villa took a few dribbles and played a lovely through ball to into the 18-yard box that Poku skillfully slipped past Steve Clark with the outside of his right foot for a goal in the 57th minute of the Club's 2-2 draw at Columbus Crew SC on August 19.
Poku found the back of the net again in the 66th minute for his six goal of the season in all competitions.
