(though we like him too.)
Meet the newest generation of British intelligence.
(Two of our favorite things: British and Intelligence!)

The latest and greatest British anything to us is STRIKE BACK, which you should all commit to see on Cinemax!
We first reviewed Episodes 31-34 inclusive:
The non-stop action continues with Episdoes 35-38, and do not stop to make popcorn because you'll undoubtedly miss something.  You'll find yourself at the sinister North Korean border and continue to acclimate yourself to the humanity of being a spy.  Danger is rampant and brilliance and wit is crucially important with such conniving enemies committed to destroy you.
Of course, the good guys here are British.
(Not true in AMC's Turn, particularly Simcoe who makes us ill.)

Not every moment is one of danger, however, as this series is not only about intelligence, it IS intelligent.  (Thank goodness, in this day and age of television!) We liked the "chocolate exchange" which added a nice element to the story.
This series will appeal to those that love both drama and action, and does have torture in it, which adds to the reality of the world we live in, unfortunately.  We applaud the writers' commitment to telling a story of what is likely not far from reality.
Some softer moments also show the softer side of the enemy, trying to get the audience to understand their point of view including antagonist love.  Other more heartfelt moments capture the true camaraderie of the agents and their relentless dedication to their vocation.  Some Russians become involved, and we really enjoyed the architecture of Austria.

You'll be introduced to cyber warfare and see what phone technology can really do.  We love the technological props in this series.

Finally, Abraham Lincoln, if you are watching up there we think there's a scene here that's going to bother you...and Oppenheimer sounds a lot like Liam Neeson!

Strike Back continues to be Highly Recommended by Whom You Know!
