" John Berg was one of the most prolific and productive art directors in the business. During his decades-long career at Columbia Records, he was responsible for the design of more than 5,000 album covers, winning four GRAMMY Awards® in the process. John created unforgettable covers for a wide-range of influential artists including the Byrds, Bob Dylan, Bessie Smith, Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand and many more. His legacy will live on in his iconic cover art. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends and all those who had the pleasure of working with him."
