HBO received 7 Golden Globe nominations for the upcoming 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards, which were announced today in Los Angeles. The Golden Globe Awards will be presented Jan. 10 in Los Angeles.

HBO’s Golden Globe nominations this year include:

* 2 nominations for “Veep”: Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy and Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Comedy or Musical (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).

* 1 nomination for “Bessie”: Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Queen Latifah).

* 1 nomination for “Game of Thrones”: Best Television Series – Drama.

* 1 nomination for “Nightingale”: Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (David Oyelowo).

* 1 nomination for “Show Me a Hero”: Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Oscar Isaac).

* 1 nomination for “Silicon Valley”: Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
