Set against in the backdrop of Napoleon’s invasion of Russia, WAR & PEACE is the ultimate story of passion and romance, scandal and deceit, following the rise and fall of fortunes of five aristocratic families — the Bezukhovs, Bolkonskys, Rostovs, Kuragins and Drubetskoys — all jockeying for top position in the waning days of imperial Russia. The dashing Andrei Bolkonsky (Norton) yearns for glory of war, but finds only heartbreak and disillusionment, which may be cured by the lovely young Natasha Rostov (James), who desperately needs to marry well to save her family from financial ruin. PART 3

On a Rostov family trip to Moscow, Natasha starts to doubt Andrei’s love for her. Natasha later meets Helene and Anatole at the opera and finds herself quickly charmed by Anatole and tells Mayra she wants to break off her engagement to Andrei. Hearing of the incident, Pierre threatens to kill Anatole if he doesn’t leave Moscow immediately. Suffering extreme heartbreak, Pierre attempts to comfort Natasha, but is unable to tell her how much he truly loves her. As French army approaches Russia, Andrei advises his father to leave for Moscow before Napoleon reaches Bald Hills, which Bolkonsky defiantly refuses. Prince Bolkonsky suffers a stroke and and Marya finds herself unable to flee. Nikolai offers his assistance to escort her to Moscow. Pierre arrives in Borodino to assist in the Russian effort and seeks to convince Andrei to make things work with Natasha.



PART 4

Pierre gets a firsthand look at the war but proves to be largely useless on the battlefield. The battle with Napoleon is fierce and costly for the Russians, but Napoleon is forced to withdraw his army and regroup. Andrei suffers a great injury. Natasha opens up her home to the wounded soldiers as the Rostovs prepare to flee. Pierre is shackled and brought before a French general. In Mytishchi, the Rostovs take shelter at a cottage, and Natasha is unexpectedly reunited with Andrei. Unaware Pierre is held captive and can’t answer her wishes to grant her an annulment, Helene cannot hide her pregnancy much longer. Denisov and Dolokhov rescue a band of prisoners, including Pierre, from the French. The harsh winter foils Napoleon, and Kutuzov victoriously chases the French out of Russia.



“DANCE MOMS”

Named Favorite Reality Show by the Kids’ Choice Awards, Lifetime’s hit docuseries Dance Moms (#DanceMoms) returns for its sixth season with new episodes, new dance moves and of course, the infamous Abby Lee Miller. With her LA studio now open for business, Abby is determined to ensure her team won’t have another dismal competition season. To keep her girls focused, Abby issues a ban on anything other than dance. In a move to keep her empire alive and grow new stars, Abby makes the controversial decision to form a new Mini Elite Competition Team that will learn from the older girls. With Abby’s legal woes on the horizon, will the Abby Lee Dance Company be able to get back on top?

After resigning the previous week, Abby locks the team out of her LA studio. Debbie Allen extends an invitation to the ALDC to work with her, proving that everyone is replaceable including Abby. Special guest choreographer Nakul includes the minis in a difficult Bollywood routine. Kalani and Nia are pushed to their breaking point with an inspired duet while mini Peyton and her mom Kerri struggle with the pressure of two dances. With no leader, the moms fear a disaster is inevitable.



Abby’s New Favorites (#606)

Abby is back but her focus is only on the minis. With only four girls on the unofficial mini team, a new mini and her mother show up to audition and they rub Melissa the wrong way. With the original junior team only competing in one routine, the moms complain when “Maddie’s replacement” Brynn is chosen to dance the lead role. With Maddie set to return for good next week, Brynn’s future at the ALDC depends on a win.

“PITCH SLAPPED”

Lifetime's puts singing in the spotlight with new docu-series Pitch Slapped (#PitchSlapped). The eight hour-long episodes reveal what it's really like in the intensely competitive world of high school a cappella. The pressure is on when two cross-town rival teams from New Jersey are given the chance to work with the world’s best coaches and face off in weekly competitions, crescendo-ing in a champion sing off. Vocal powerhouse Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect) will stop at nothing to get his team, Stay Tuned from Cherry Hill, to come out of their shells and get them in-tune while a cappella rock-star and performance coach Diana Preisler (Blue Jupiter) guides The Voices from Allendale, to harmonize their way to a win.

Sharon is contemporary a cappella’s most prolific arranger and currently producing The Sing-Off worldwide. He also served as arranger, on-site music director and vocal producer for the highly successful feature films Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2. Sharon is the founder, director and arranger for the pioneering a cappella group House Jacks. Preisler’s background as a singer, voice-over actress and performance coach has garnered her a reputation as one of the most respected a cappella coaches in the industry. Preisler has toured the world as the manager, artistic director and lead female singer of successful a cappella group, and international vocal sensation Blue Jupiter, and has been featured on Nickelodeon, the Huffington Post and Oprah.

It’s time for a different set of school supplies ­ scissors, sewing machines and fabric! The new school year brings the freshman class of young designers in the inaugural season of Project Runway: Junior (#ProjectRunwayJunior). This next generation of up­and­coming fashionistas, ages 13 to 17, will be mentored by Emmy® Award winner Tim Gunn who co­hosts alongside supermodel Hannah Davis. Kelly Osbourne, designer Christian Siriano and executive fashion editor at Cosmopolitan and Seventeen Magazine Aya Kanai, serve as judges to determine who will make the grade. Actress Bella Thorne joins panel as guest judge for the final challenge.

“THE RAP GAME”

The next big rap star is about to be unleashed beginning New Year’s Day when five emerging young hip hop artists, ages 12 to 16 years old, are given the opportunity to rhyme and flow with highly sought after producer, Jermaine Dupri in the all­new Lifetime unscripted series, The Rap Game (#TheRapGame). 

These young rappers will be immersed in the Atlanta hip hop scene with Dupri at the helm as their mentor. Queen Latifah and her partner Shakim Compere will executive produce under the Flavor Unit umbrella along with Dupri on the series. Each week, special guests such as Usher, Ludacris, Da Brat, T.I. and Silentó will join Dupri to help mold the kids into the next big, young rap star.

“PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS”

Thirteen of television’s most memorable and talented designers make their way back to the workroom to try to sew up a win on season five of Lifetime’s hit series Project Runway All Stars (#PRAllStars). The designers will have a new twist to contend with this season as Alyssa Milano, Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman will be judging an "anonymous runway" for the very first time and won't know which designer created each garment. Zanna Roberts Rassi returns as the designers’ mentor.

Joining the judges to weigh in on who should win are musicians Ke$ha, Boy George, Little Big Town and actresses Debra Messing, Vanessa Hudgens, Megan Hilty and Debi Mazar. The designers will also face Project Runway’s Nina Garcia and Zac Posen, supermodel Coco Rocha, celebrity stylist Johnny Wujek, and TV personalities Kristin Cavallari and Brad Goreski.

The psychedelic summer of 1969 comes to life in the Lifetime Original Movie, Manson’s Lost Girls, featuring the next generation of Hollywood stars MacKenzie Mauzy, (Into the Woods), Eden Brolin (I Dream Too Much), Greer Grammer (Awkward) and Christian Madsen (Divergent). The film paints a new picture of Charles Manson's (Jeff Ward, The Mentalist) world, as told through the stories of Linda Kasabian (Mauzy) and the other women who fell under his demonic spell to create one of the most famous cults of all time.
Manson’s Lost Girls follows Linda as she first arrives at the seemingly idyllic Spahn Ranch hippie commune where she is embraced with open arms. Seduced by the group’s free-love lifestyle, Linda revels in the sisterhood and acceptance. Taken with Manson, he soon draws her into criminal activities, including late-night “creepy crawls” to steal from lavish homes. Linda reluctantly becomes an accomplice in Manson’s “Helter Skelter,” a drug-fueled murder spree that included the brutal death of actress Sharon Tate. She ultimately breaks away and turns herself in as a witness for the prosecution and helps to convict Manson.

Anna’s had a tough time getting close to people ever since her father died five years ago and her relationship with her boyfriend ended. Having lost interest in dating, she focuses on school and taking care of her mom and sister, Sasha. With Anna’s best interest at heart, Sasha creates a profile for her on Swipe--a new dating app that matches users via GPS. Though she is reluctant, Anna gives the app a try. Several potential suitors message her, but they all pale in comparison to handsome and charming Pete. Then Anna starts to get disturbing messages and notifications that a match is very close to her proximity when no one should be. Becoming anxious and paranoid, she pushes Pete away. Not knowing who to trust, Anna is pitted against a stalker who looks to be a match from hell prepared to kill for love.

To make matters worse, Chelsea finds out she is pregnant and Jeff wants nothing to do with the baby. Being withdrawn, Jeff's wife Sonia suspects he is having an affair and discovers not only is the other woman just 17 but she is pregnant too. When Sonia meets Chelsea she feels sorry for her and decides to help her out but when a dark figure from Chelsea's past returns it puts all three of them in danger, including her unborn baby!
