Those in New York City living with cancer and their families are depending on you.

The 2016 American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) New York City Cancer Action Week is planned for Monday, May 16 through Friday, May 20. During this period, meetings will take place at City Council district offices across New York City to discuss issues such as the tobacco control program and physical education in schools.

This is an important week for those living with cancer and their family members and friends to come to visit the offices of their council members to tell their personal stories and talk about our priorities. Our leaders must hear these stories so they can take appropriate action on cancer related issues and programs.
