Celebrating its 13th year the weekend of Friday, April 7th through Sunday, April 9th, 2017, the La Jolla Concours d'Elegance will be returning to the stunning shores of La Jolla. Earning the reputation as one of the finest internationally renowned classic automobile showcases in the United States, the La Jolla Concours continues to attract discerning car enthusiasts from around the globe. La Jolla Concours d'Elegance is an incredible weekend of prestigious automotive events; it is also an opportunity to experience the chic allure of La Jolla's Avenues, which exudes first class hospitality, magnificent boutiques and world-class cuisine. The 2017 La Jolla Concours d'Elegance will feature Packard as the honored marque. An integral part of US automotive history, Packard automobiles were prime examples in their day of American-made cars at their finest and we are pleased to present the finest specimens of these painstakingly preserved and restored automobiles in 2017.
The 13th Annual La Jolla Concours d'Elegance, in addition to Packard, will also showcase some of the most exquisite automobile displays in the world. This celebratory automotive weekend will begin on Friday, April 7th, 2017with the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Contemporary Classic Cocktail Party. The La Jolla Concours featured events will continue into Saturday, April 8th, 2017, with the annual Tour d'Elegance. Saturday night will continue with the Aston Martin San Diego Exclusive Saturday Evening VIP Reception which will be held on the Concours lawn.
Saving the most extravagant for last, the weekend will conclude with the La Jolla Concours d'Elegance on Sunday, April 9th, 2017 with over 150 spectacular vehicles, a champagne and honey tasting garden, a VIP Lounge, and VIP Hospitality Suites. Staying true to tradition, we will also be featuring the La Jolla Motor Car Classic at the Concours, which will once again be free and open to the public and will expand the show from the Ellen Browning Scripps Park into the La Jolla Village roadways displaying a variety of automobiles.
The 13th Annual La Jolla Concours d'Elegance proceeds will go towards La Jolla Historical Society, which preserves the history of the gem known as La Jolla, and the betterment of the Monarch School Project, which educates students specifically who have been impacted by homelessness. In addition to the Monarch School Project and La Jolla Historical Society, the La Jolla Concours d'Elegance benefits several additional local community nonprofit partners each year.
