Final Two Weeks to View The Roof Garden Commission at The Met

On view through October 31 (weather permitting)

The Metropolitan Museum of Art's much-talked-about exhibition will be closing soon. Set atop The Met, high above Central Park, this iconic house-like structure inspired by Edward Hopper and Alfred Hitchcock is now surrounded by a sea of foliage, providing an unusual contrast to the Manhattan skyline. Fabricated from a deconstructed red barn, this large-scale sculpture by acclaimed British artist Cornelia Parker is also an embodiment of a psychoanalytic theory on the mother-and-child relationship. The installation closes on Halloween.
