With fall winding down and the wind gusting around every skyscraper leaving you absolutely freezing, it's high time to start thinking about preserving yourself from the elements in style.
A brand new to us, Luna & Terra, is highly impressive in their inaugural review. Designed in Houston and manufactured in Peru, these products are classy, stylish and well-made. They told us they are made from the world's finest Alpaca yarns. We know them because Charles Dyer is Peachy's facebook friend. As you know people named Charles have a great track record on Whom You Know; some name drinks after us (Charles Ferri) and others put us in their novels (Charles Kipps). Charles Dyer and his wife Mariella Bertello are the geniuses behind this brand.
Since Peachy Deegan actually knows how to knit and knows something about yarn, we come from a point of knowledge on this matter, and we would agree that this probably is the world's finest Alpaca yarn. Maybe we should find out where they get the yarn from specifically because we have not seen it for sale in Manhattan (as if Peachy could ever actually get off of Twitter to knit...!) This yarn is soft and premium quality, and we are pleased to kick off our coverage of Luna & Terra with the Messina look in Steel Blue.
This hat is hand knitted from luxuriously soft alpaca fibers and features a comfortable Watch Cap rib band, crowned in a splendid Cable and Rib pattern and matching Pom-Pom. The Messina hat is made from 100% Baby Alpaca (not a blend). Colors available are Imperial Red, Steel Blue, Habano (natural undyed), and Ivory (natural undyed).

The Messina Gloves are a must to have, especially since you want them to match the hat. Hand knitted from luxurious soft alpaca fibers, these Messina Gloves feature a comfortable rib band with a splendid Cable and Rib pattern. They are topless so you can check your Twitter as much as Peachy does, and answer your phone calls, and dig out your keys, and do everything else with your fingertips. Colors available in Imperial Red, Steel Blue, Habano, and Ivory.

Hand wash with special wool detergent in warm water and lay flat to dry, or we suggest sending to Hallak the Couture Cleaner so you don't ruin it; these are that nice. Baby Alpaca actually becomes softer and warmer the more you handle and wash it. With proper care it will last a long, long time.

Charles studied Business, worked for more than 25 years in Corporate Management and International Commerce and always had this desire of working together.
One day, they decided to join their passion and careers and start LUNA & TERRA, which means Moon & Earth in Latin. Luna symbolizes an endless source of inspiration and Terra represents their commitment to protect and conserve the environment.
