Registration Now Open for CES Asia 2017 Expanded show to feature new CES Asia Innovation Awards program highlighting outstanding tech breakthroughs
Registration is now open for the third annual CES Asia™, which returns to Shanghai, China June 7-9, 2017 with a larger footprint in the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre (SNIEC). Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)TMand co-produced by Shanghai Intex Exhibition Co., Ltd, CES Asia is the premier event for the consumer technology industry in Asia and only event that encompasses the entire consumer technology ecosystem.
New for 2017, CES Asia is pleased to announce the launch of the CES Asia Innovation Awards. Modeled after the annual CES Innovation Awards, the program recognizes outstanding product design and engineering in brand-new consumer technology products across 19 award categories. CES Asia 2017 exhibitors may submit entry applications between February 6 and March 22, 2017. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of elite industry judges. CES Asia 2017 is set to span up to 45,000 gross square meters, up almost 24 percent over 2016. A total of 1,137 members of the media came to CES Asia in 2016 to cover the show's breakthroughs. CES Asia 2017 will welcome more than 30,000 attendees from over 80 countries, regions and territories. More, 450 innovative exhibiting companies are expected to unveil their latest products and technologies across 19 product categories, including new categories: augmented reality, drones, vehicle technology and virtual reality.
From BMW's iFuture concept car to Intel/Lenovo's F2 Exercise Shoe, major products were introduced at CES Asia 2016. A sampling of innovative companies already set to exhibit include: Audio-Technica, Continental Automotive Holding, Digital China, Fossil, Garmin, Gibson Brands, Haier, Huawei, Intel, LeEco, Monster, NavInfo, Onkyo, OtterBox, Pioneer, Scosche, Suning, United States Postal Service, UPS, Voxx, Wacom and Yuneec.
