The season premiere of Travel Channel’s “Bizarre Foods” with Andrew Zimmern, airing on Tuesday, January 31 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, garnered P25-54 ratings that were 26 percent higher than its year-ago timeslot levels and 12 percent higher than the prior season average. It also was the series’ highest-rated premiere episode since April 2015. Attracting more than one million viewers, the episode followed the culinary explorer along Lewis and Clark’s famed Pacific Northwest trail.
This season, “Bizarre Foods” showcases America’s diverse cuisines and cultures as Zimmern engages in activities and food along the country’s most iconic routes, including Route 66, the Southern BBQ trail, the Pacific Coast Highway and the Civil War trail. “Bizarre Foods” and Zimmern debuted on Travel Channel in February 2007. This month marks the series 10th anniversary year.
