Los Angeles designer Chelsea, wins the second season of Project Runway Junior at just 15-years-old. Chelsea, alongside Chris, Hawwaa and Izzy made it to the finale and were tasked with designing a six-piece spring collection. During a roller coaster season, Chelsea finished strong with her futuristic, video game inspired collection, showcased in front of a live audience at FIDM in Los Angeles. Week after week, tackling conventional and unconventional challenges, Chelsea impressed mentor Tim Gunn, judges Hannah Jeter, Kelly Osbourne, Christian Siriano and Aya Kanai, executive fashion editor at Cosmopolitan and Seventeen Magazine, along with guest judge Olivia Holt. In addition to fashion, Chelsea is a singer, plays piano and guitar, and composes her own music.
As the winner, Chelsea receives a full scholarship to the prestigious FIDM in California; a complete home sewing and crafting studio, plus, the Dream Machine, all courtesy of Brother; a feature in Seventeen Magazine; and a $25,000 cash prize, to help launch their line. Butter LONDON will also supply a year’s worth of products and the opportunity to consult with butter LONDON to create a limited edition nail color collection. The styles from her finale collection will be manufactured by Los Angeles Development House, a Lefty Production Company.
