PATRIOTIC PEACHY MEETS SMALL SCREEN SCENES IN TURN: Washington’s Spies Season Four Episodes One Through Three Earn Our Highest Recommendation Starting Saturday, June 17th 9PM ET
We have loved this show all along:
Season One:
Season Two:
Season Three:
...and we think it's a shame that this is the final season.
Peachy Deegan has never invested time in protesting anything because she works, but if she were to protest, the end of this show would be at the top of the list.
So, that makes it even more important not to miss!
Every aspect is escalating and you will be immediately gripped by the story, though we know it had a happy ending already.
Episodes One to Three inclusive were made available to the press and we watched them all and they're just as great as you remember. The writing, casting, and acting could not be better and of course armed with a B.A. in American History from Boston College, Peachy Deegan thinks the subject matter cannot be improved upon. If all episodes were available now, we would watch them all now and turn off the phone and computer. This show is that deserving of your attention and the most underrated show in television; we strongly believe society today should have a stronger grasp of and more enthusiastic interest in history.
Naturally you all should appreciate early Manhattan, called York City here, and the old school way of spying. Turn shows you how rebels were cunning before there was technology with old Yankee inventiveness and smart thinking. The wisdom of Washington continues to shine bright and especially as we will be celebrating the 241st birthday soon in the USA, the enduring intelligence of the founding fathers is to be appreciated more than ever and Turn gives us all a renewed appreciation for the value of being American.
It's not all history though; the character development is quite intriguing and we are highly impressed by Peggy who we believe shows that even death does not deter matters of the heart. Both men and women are shown with strong roles and we continue to be impressed with the entire cast.
Families are torn apart and the ongoing theme of family versus country comes to the forefront in the biggest way thus far.
Who can you trust?
What side is each character really on?
It's at its bloodiest, most violent and turbulent; however, this was necessary to give birth to a new country.
All revolutionary matters begin to really bubble over in these first three episodes and we look forward to the conclusion. We don't want to give too much away.
Be there.
Even our readers in the UK should try to enjoy this!
We're the biggest victory they had that got away...and we are best friends now.
