Peachy's WWW: Food Network's In the Kitchen app now has an iMessage extension

It’s never been easier to decide what you want to cook for dinner. With the new iMessage extension from Food Network’s In the Kitchen app, you can now seamlessly integrate recipe inspirations and ideas into your everyday conversations. The app is currently available on iOS in the Apple Store.

Once you’ve downloaded the In the Kitchen app, simply tap the Applications icon next to the message field, and you’ll be able to locate the app extension and share recipes with your friends and family with helpful visuals that show a main image, the chef, and the average rating out of 5 stars. Send a few recipes, and your friends can vote for their favorite with a thumbs up or thumbs down for each one. With another tap, you can see a preview image of the whole recipe and the necessary ingredients, helping you plan your meals and shop for ingredients without leaving the conversation. When you’re ready to get cooking, you can easily click through to see the full recipe and cooking instructions in the full In the Kitchen app.

Food Network’s essential In the Kitchen app is your one-stop shop for all things food. Get instant access to our most-popular show recipes from Alton Brown, Giada De Laurentiis, Ree Drummond, Bobby Flay, Guy Fieri and many more. Whether you need inspiration for your next meal or you’re looking for a recipe that's being made on tv right now, finding delicious recipes from your favorite Food Network chefs and shows has never been this quick and easy.
