We love the cheeky when appropriate!  Diana always knew when was appropriate.
Previously on Whom You Know, Prince Harry was featured playing polo in New York, and though we do not personally know him, he was delightful to cover and gracious to everyone we saw him interact with that day.  Princess Diana's greatest legacy is her boys, and everyone that has a heart and an ounce of humanity absolutely must set their channel to HBO tonight at 10pm.  Diana is a must-see and you ought to have a box of kleenex next to you, you will be so touched.  William even mentions that he felt her there at his wedding. The genuineness of Princess Diana is echoed brilliantly in each of her sons, both of whom we believe she'd be so proud of.

Everyone knows it's the 20-year anniversary of her passing, and the photography and video footage included in this special is priceless.  William and Harry reveal the real person behind the public persona and the precious love and cheeky sense of humor leap out of the screen in celebration of her life.  Their candor and honesty seems unprecedented from the Royal Family and we love everything they're doing to modernize their roles for today.  Everyone that has ever lost someone experiences grief and the universal feeling of sorrow; you'll be brought to tears of both happiness and sadness as the boys open up and share their lives.  Diana was clearly a breath of fresh air for not only her country but also the world.

The research involved in this fabulous documentary is amazing; it goes back to Diana's brother Charles, Earl Spencer, and we particularly loved the video of them with rabbits as kids.  Her sense of humor not many in the public got a real sense of but you'll see it in this great work for the prized just over an hour.  We also loved hearing William's supermodel story; maybe it is not such a coincidence that we believe he saw his wife in a fashion show when they were in college at St. Andrews.

We are appalled by the way the press treated Diana and anyone that people in the press disrespect; this is one of many reasons why we do not consider Whom You Know regular press.  In our 22,000 plus posts, there is not one post that is on anyone that did not want to be featured.  Everyone and everything we feature knows we may be publishing on them and we believe is happy to be featured.  Respect is crucial.

Diana possessed an acute level of emotional intelligence the world rarely sees and her empathetical talents brought tremendous attention to her causes of AIDS, Land Mines in Bosnia, Homelessness and Child Bereavement.  Diana made pictures go viral before there was such a thing, before there was a widespread internet and certainly before social media.

We also loved hearing from Diana's personal friends and the royal photographer.

You will cry your eyes out at what might have been.
Yet, you're ecstatic that there once was a Diana Spencer who forever changed the world.

“She was our mum. She still is our mum. And of course, as a son I would say this, she was the best mum in the world...She smothered us with love, that’s for sure.”

– His Royal Highness Prince Harry

The landmark documentary DIANA, OUR MOTHER: HER LIFE AND LEGACY, celebrating the life and work of Diana, Princess of Wales, in the 20th year since her tragic death, debuts MONDAY, JULY 24 (10:00-11:05 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO.

DIANA, OUR MOTHER features interviews with HRH The Duke of Cambridge and HRH Prince Harry, both of whom talk openly about their mother and pay tribute to the many ways her influence has shaped their lives. The film offers a fresh and revealing insight into Princess Diana through the personal and intimate reflections of her two sons and her friends and family, many of whom have never spoken publicly before, to bring together a unique portrait of an iconic person who touched the lives of millions.

The 65-minute film includes never-before-seen photographs of Diana, taken from an album that she had assembled. The brothers look through the private family album and recall some of the most joyful and touching moments from their childhood.

Studying a photo of The Princess holding him while pregnant with Prince Harry, Prince William says, “Believe it or not, you and I are both in this photograph, you’re in the tummy!”

Prince Harry says, “This is the first time that the two of us have ever spoken about her as a mother.”

Prince William says, “She was very informal and really enjoyed the laughter and the fun.”

Prince William and Prince Harry share some of their earliest memories of their mother, recall the final conversation they had with her before her tragic death in August 1997, and discuss their feelings in the aftermath of losing her. Prince William explains how he keeps her memory alive for his own children.

The documentary also celebrates the achievements of Diana’s work and her sons’ determination to continue the campaigns that were closest to her heart.

Other participants in DIANA, OUR MOTHER include: Sir Elton John; Rihanna; The Rt. Hon. Earl Spencer (Diana’s brother); childhood friends Harry Herbert, Lady Carolyn Warren, William van Straubenzee and Gerard McGrath; Jayne Fincher (royal photographer); Anna Harvey (personal stylist); Lord Victor Adebowale (former CEO, Centrepoint); landmine activists Prof. Jerry White (University of Virginia) and Dr. Ken Rutherford (director, CISR at James Madison University); and Graham Dillamore (gardens manager, Kensington Palace).
