Governor’s Award for Business Excellence in Supporting Mature Workers 2017 honorees announced
Governor Phil Scott is pleased to announce that four outstanding Vermont companies will be honored with Governor’s Awards for Business Excellence in Supporting Mature Workers at a noontime ceremony at the Killington Grand Hotel on Thursday, September 28th, during the Fall Conference of the Vermont State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management.
The 2017 Governor’s Award honorees are:
Chroma Technology Group, Bellows Falls
GW Plastics, Bethel
Vermont Associates for Training and Development, St. Albans
Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice, Berlin
These outstanding employers consistently demonstrate exceptional commitment to employment practices that benefit and support the inclusion and retention of mature workers, resulting in a positive impact on our state’s economic sustainability as well as the health and well-being of older Vermonters.
Representatives from the Governor’s Office, ACCD, DOL, AHS, DAIL and AARP Vermont are all expected to be in attendance to congratulate and celebrate the 2017 honorees.
