Matt Trierweiler Joins Programming Team for HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country

Matt Trierweiler has joined Scripps Networks Interactive (SNI) as a director of programming for HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country. In his new role, Matt will manage the development and production of series and specials for the three networks. He will be based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and will report to Betsy Ayala, vice president of original programming and production.
Matt joins SNI from the Los Angeles offices of Country Music Television (CMT), where he was a development executive for more than five years. While there, he oversaw multiple series, including Sun Records, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team and The Dude Perfect Show. Prior to his stint at CMT, he spent five years at Liquid Theory Productions, also in Los Angeles. Matt is a graduate of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
