Mmmmmm pizza in Manhattan, one of the best places in the world to have pizza, and arguably, the best! There are some Italians that think it is better here than in Italy; the water in Manhattan is terrific. How do we decide who makes the best pizza? We eat it. We have eaten a whole lot of it and we only write on the best. And sometimes, we eat it again. In Midtown Manhattan, Owner Kevin Wade has some of the best pizza around and we're happy to remind you of the genius taste of Previti Pizza.

If you go back in our 9-year history, many pizza places have been featured once or twice and there are few we have worked with over five years, testament to how much we like this pizza.
It also happens to be quite close to Cosmopolitan Dental, so if you want to get your teeth dirty before or after you get them cleaned...you know where to go.
We try to be somewhat balanced when we order out. We always order a green salad, but there are no green salads at this venue-we'd like to see these in the future. Previti might be the only pizza place we publish on at all that does not offer a green salad-so that is how much we do like their pizza. We ordered the veggie lovers pizza and took off the olives and added spinach, tomato and artichokes and the result was fantastic. From the fresh ingredients of vegetables to the cheese to the sauce to the strong crust that supports it all beautifully, the pizza is exactly what you want for your lunch today. Or dinner. Or breakfast tomorrow.
The sandwiches at Previti Pizza are among the best in all of Manhattan. They are made on fresh bread that they make there that is somewhat like an English Muffin and is not like any other bread we've had. The favorite of Peachy Deegan is the Chicken and Provolone with Truffle Cream Sauce. Your key to knowing this is gourmet is that this venue is using Truffle anything-not often seen in a pizza place, even in Manhattan. This is the best sandwich we've had this fall. The flavor combination is a total winner and this should be your lunch today.

Another positive is the Grilled Balsamic Chicken. The Roasted Red Peppers are superlative here and the arugula, tomatoes and mozzarella kick it up umpteen notches to secure fabulous flavor. These are no ordinary sandwiches and although we do have a resident Chicken Parm Monster at Whom You Know, she does like to try Kevin's new genius combinations because they are intelligently crafted with the right wow factor of flavor without being gross and trendy and trying too hard, like some of their competition that certainly will come and go.
Sausage, Peppers and Onions are a classic that somehow does not make it into many Manhattan pizza places, but we see it at Previti! This is a popular combination in Connecticut we have seen and the proportion of each of these three ingredients is enhanced but not overwhelmed by the delectable sauce that makes these sandwiches tough to beat.
