Global Hotel Solutions provider HRS has won a global RFP from Siemens and will handle all business processes related to the worldwide hotel program for the company. With more than three million room nights a year, Siemens represents one of the largest global hotel programs. HRS won this contract via the combination of its innovative strength and capability to globally optimize the entire hotel management value chain as a vertical expert. With this combination of services, Siemens and HRS are setting a new benchmark in the travel industry.
Starting with professional hotel purchasing and negotiating special rates with hotels, through rate loading and rate audits to ongoing analysis and optimization, HRS will manage the global hotel program for Siemens in more than 170 countries. HRS will help Siemens achieve its strategic goals – Siemens aims to reduce the complexity of travel management, link all processes from start to finish, and thus reduce costs.
At the same time, HRS aims to increase traveler satisfaction through more personalized and easier booking processes. Future-oriented technologies will be used, such as artificial intelligence and blockchain. According to Thorsten Eicke, Vice President of Global Category Mobility Services for Siemens AG, "HRS clearly convinced us with its holistic approach. We were impressed by the seamless end-to-end solutions, from sourcing to booking. The innovation power of HRS was also decisive."
"We are very excited about expanding our collaboration, and are proud that Siemens gave us overall responsibility for all processes related to business hotel accommodation worldwide," said HRS CEO Tobias Ragge. "Our services will lead to additional savings of direct and indirect costs at Siemens. At the same time, HRS hotel partners will benefit from this deal, which gives them increased access to one of the world’s top global brands."
