It's not who you know, it's WHOM YOU KNOW and we are glad to know Mover and Shakers Julien and Suelyn, and we have known them for years; we met them in March 2009! We were so thrilled to see Julien at our recent visit.

Of course, we met Lila through this brilliant couple! Vive la France - we are AMERICAN and we know the FRENCH helped us win the war (remember the Declaration of Independence in 1776?! And Lafayette? Guess who has a degree in American History) and so maybe the second language of America should be French- but also up with the English for now because the Royal Wedding is in a matter of hours and Peachy's haircolor is ready! Because we went to a French salon!
The moment you enter Julien Farel, you will feel like you are on a vacation to France in a beautifully relaxing atmosphere that is concurrently conducive to the highest level of gorgeous haircolor execution. As always, we consulted with Lila Carlino, star colorist and by title, Advanced Colorist, before she started painting years off our life we agreed upon a specific strategy. Lila is the ultimate professional.
"We're going to lighten Peachy's base color to what it faded to, which is a lighter brown. Then we're going to paint some more golden highlights in Peachy's hair for summer [with no red (which would equal Peachy's nightmare. Red is good for the English flag and Harry's natural haircolor. Red is not good for Peachy's haircolor because if you look at her clearly she and Harry do not have the same coloring.)] We're going to cover the silver with light brown 7N Inoa by L'Oreal and the lightener is Redken Flashlit."
We had to ask Lila what kind of hair she thought we'd see for the Royal Wedding.
"I think that Meghan will do soft waves with maybe a side part, very old Hollywood. I don't think she's going to wear a crown," comments Lila. "For those that wear hats, your hair should either be down or in a low bun, but very soft. Not too stiff."
Another hot item in Fashion is on this side of the pond, and we covered it a week ago Monday at The Met-Anna Wintour's latest and greatest: Heavenly Bodies. This is essentially Catholic Fashion. "Heavenly Bodies looks like they did a great job at The Met and it looks like it was so tastefully done. I can't wait to see it. From the impact of Anna Wintour to Donatella Versace (up with the Italians say Lila and Peachy!) the creative vision and impressive contribution from the Vatican make this exhibit a must-see including at The Cloisters. Now that I've seen Peachy's pictures I can't wait to visit."
Lila Carlino was assisted by Natalia and Veronica, whom we were pleased to meet for the first time. In adding the highlights, foil was employed in the process to achieve the desired fabulous color. Hiro remained the hero of the blowdry, giving us a polished look to advance to the next review in the life of Peachy Deegan. We also like the fun music choice played at the perfect music volume in the background.
