Countdown To The 30th Anniversary of SHARK WEEK With “The Daily Bite,” Discovery Digital’s First-Ever Daily Digital Original Series
To commemorate the landmark 30th anniversary of Discovery Channel’s SHARK WEEK (Sunday, July 22 – Sunday, July 29), Discovery Digital is debuting a slate of six digital original series that will air across Discovery GO and social media platforms.
On Sunday, July 1, Discovery GO launched the platform’s first-ever daily series to begin the countdown to SHARK WEEK’S 30th anniversary.
The Daily Bite: Countdown to SHARK WEEK, hosted by comedian Jordan Carlos, will revisit the best shark moments in history, including all of the original digital Shark Week content created for GO and never-before-seen Shark Week linear content. The digital series will also reveal exclusive sneak peeks of Shark Week’s upcoming 30th anniversary programming.
SHARK WEEK is also returning to Snapchat! Following the success of 2017’s SHARK WEEK on Snapchat, its Snapchat exclusive Show that garnered over 12MM unique viewers, Discovery Digital is bringing SHARK WEEK back to Snapchatters across the U.S. to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary TV event.
