Fashion designer Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women's Collections at Louis Vuitton, and Grace Coddington, former Creative Director for Vogue, will be the next guests of The Atelier with Alina Cho on Monday, October 22, at 6:30 p.m. at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
As two influential and intriguing voices in fashion, Ghesquière and Coddington have made remarkable contributions to the fashion industry and shaped ideas around luxury, taste, and skill that inform an understanding of fashion as art.
They will join journalist Alina Cho for a conversation about their recent collaboration for Louis Vuitton, their love of animals, and what their futures hold, including the pair's upcoming chat on Face to Grace, Coddington's new Made to Measure (M2M) series.
Now in its fifth season, The Atelier with Alina Cho has featured fashion visionaries including Alber Elbaz, Diane von Furstenberg, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler, Olivier Rousteing, Donatella Versace, Alexander Wang, and Anna Wintour in conversations that explore the intersection of fashion and art along with a range of topics.
This series is made possible by the Doris and Stanley Tananbaum Foundation in memory of Doris Tananbaum.
