The phenomenal chicken quesadillas!
If you don't love your vegetables, clearly you don't know these guys. Yet. It's not who you know and if you speak English correctly, you know it never is. It's WHOM YOU KNOW, and you ought to know Sean Marr and Brendan Kirkpatrick, owners of Bedford Falls along with Mike Geddes (not pictured). We began with the lovely Brussels Sprouts, smashingly seared with pistachios and creme fraiche. Drizzled with balsamic, these halved winners were crunchy and delicious. How many vegetables can you say are delicious?

We love chicken quesadillas and no one has done them better than Bedford Falls this year! That is saying something at the end of September! It is no wonder they are a best-seller and the juicy chicken paired with the amazing cheesy goodness inside is kept warm by the comfortingly crisp crust, toasted to perfection.
Another huge hit is the Cottage Pie. NOT Shepherd's Pie - that is lamb and you know Peachy does not like lamb.
Peachy has had Cottage Pie in Ireland, Scotland and England and this is just as good as the mother country version, probably because Sean Marr is from GLASGOW. Crafted with 100% ground beef, this Cottage Pie is a big hit with the chillier days coming and is joined by peas and carrots and topped with brilliant tufts of mashed potatoes. Eat the mother country minus the plane fare!
Well isn't this just DUCKY.
Literally.
Lots of casual restaurants don't try to come up with new innovations that kill their competition, but Bedford Falls does, because it's a wonderful dinner. You need to catch up on your movies if you didn't understand our comment. A newcomer to the menu is the Duck Club which is a brilliant combination of duck and bacon with lettuce, tomato and wasabi mayo. After the chicken quesadillas, this was our second most favorite item. Completely guaranteed to make you quack about with glee! The flavor, freshness and texture is flawless.
We reveled in the simplicity of the Baby Beet Salad and adored the well cut beets and halved cherry tomatoes, all fresh and striking a pose on some fantastic Boston lettuce. House vinaigrette was put on the side for Ms. Pretty Picky who nearly never likes salad dressing.
If you have been reading our District Tap and District Social reviews, if you have learned anything about Sean Marr besides his expertise in alcohol, you know he is a huge proponent of pork! Of course Bedford Falls has a superior Grilled Pork Chop, another best seller here and many steps above regular bar food. Perfectly presented with a side of mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach, the superiorly seared pork is splendorous in flavor and pairing. Bedford Falls even has a great wine list and we sipped a Hussonet Chilean Cabernet with Sean.
Great cheesesteaks don't have to come from Philadelphia! Complete with peppers and onions, this cheesesteak hits the spot and was a solid showing. Even better was the Moroccan Chicken Sandwich, below, which is bursting with vegetables additionally making it a healthier selections. Red Onion, lettuce, cucumber and polbano pepper sourced from Mexico up the flavor and make this chicken never ordinary.
Save some room for the Beef Chili, another staple of comfort food served with brio and spice at Bedford Falls! Topped off with cheese, this carnivorous wonder is rich and juicy and served with crunchy tortilla chips.
Finally, if you are a poisson-enthusiast like we are here-we require one meat and one fish entree, do not miss the sensational Grilled Salmon which also puts Bedford Falls into the upper echelon of casual venues. A best seller, the salmon is total brain food and delicious besides that! Mashed potatoes and spinach bring more happy nutrition to you and your tastebuds...and know that the name Bedford Falls is on purpose! We can't WAIT to see it here on Christmas.
Our second experience at Bedford Falls was fantastic and we look forward to seeing what these guys do next.
