LENOVO RECEIVES “2018 CHINA BEST EMPLOYER AWARD” FROM ZHAOPIN.COM RECOGNITION AS A “TOP 100 BEST EMPLOYERS” AND “TOP 10 BEST EMPLOYERS FOR WOMEN”

Lenovo has received the “2018 China Best Employer Award” from Zhaopin.com, a leading career platform in China. Lenovo won both the “Top 100 Best Employers” and “Top 10 Best Employers for Women” at the award ceremony held in Beijing last week. Both awards were given in recognition of Lenovo's performance in terms of working environment, career development, and employee satisfaction.

Human resources professionals were involved in the selection, with more than 40 million votes and nominations cast by employees and the public, as well as collaboration with UN Women and the World Health Organization. The winners were selected from a total of 30,854 nominated companies in China—a 76 percent increase over last year.

As a company of Chinese heritage, Lenovo has created a truly global entity, prioritizing cultural, ethnic, and gender diversity. Lenovo recently released its first Global Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Report in an effort to embrace transparency and share an ongoing commitment to increasing worldwide representation and opportunity. The annual “China Best Employer Award” is organized by Zhaopin, together with the Peking University Social Survey Research Center. Launched in 2005, the award has become the most influential and prestigious employer brand event in China. The “Oscar” of the human resources industry in the country aims to determine industrial trends in corporate management and human resources management and analyze demand change in the job market. The award is both a valuable reference for job seekers and an important benchmark for employers to strengthen brand strategies.
