#NewYorkNotes @RecordingAcad @warnerrecords RECORDING ACADEMY® AND WARNER RECORDS REVEAL THE 2020 GRAMMY® NOMINEES ALBUM TRACK LISTING FEATURING 21 SONGS THAT DEFINED THE YEAR IN MUSIC
THE 2020 GRAMMY® NOMINEES ALBUM HITS STORES AND DIGITAL RETAILERS JAN. 17 AND IS AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER NOW AT 2020GRAMMYAlbum.com
Every year we look forward to the release of the Grammy Nominees Album, and this year it's quite the winner. Not only is it emblazoned in Peachy's favorite color, green, but also it is absolutely packed with diverse talent that is sure to have something to appeal to everyone! Thus, it makes a fantastic gift to give to your musically-enthused pals and we particularly like the order it goes in. Hats off to The Recording Academy and Warner Records!
We hadn't paid much attention to Billie Eilish before, but she's got our attention now. The charismatic beat and style of Bad Guy is perfection to kick off the hits and we predict great success from this new talent on Grammy night. We are really impressed by her originality and some artists imitate what has already been done before while Billie blazes ahead with her own style which is the best anyone can do in any discipline. Also, you must have heard she's doing the song for the next James Bond movie. She is by far the best new artist to us, and as far as songs go, Bad Guy and Sucker by The Jonas Brothers we liked the best among all of these songs.
We're glad to hear Ed Sheeran back on this album and he and Justin Bieber have quite the duet with I Don't Care, the best collaboration on this album. Taylor Swift has a strong performance with Lover, though that song is not our favorite Taylor Swift song that has been on this album throughout the years. Brand New Man is the best country song in our opinion.
Everyone is going to like different songs but that's the beauty of this collaborative work. The Grammy's unite everyone beautifully every year and you can read all of our coverage on The Recording Academy 365 days a year in New York Notes. Avid readers know it takes a year to plan such an extravaganza!
The juxtaposition of music genres and total quality respectively highlight what The Recording Academy does best, and listening to this album is the best way to get excited for the big show.
The 2020 Grammy Nominees Album has earned Whom You Know's Highest Recommendation.
