NHL BLOODLINES ON DAY 2 OF THE DRAFT

Roby Jarventie (No. 33 overall, Ottawa): His father, Martti, was a 4th-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2001 (109th overall) who appeared in one game with the team in 2001-02. Martti, who patrolled the blue line for 21 seasons in Europe, is a two -time Finnish Elite League champion.

Thomas Bordeleau (No. 38 overall, San Jose): His father, Sebastien, was a 3rd-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 1993 (73rd overall) who recorded 37-61—98 in 251 career NHL games with Canadiens, Nashville Predators, Minnesota Wild and Phoenix Coyotes. His grandfather Paulin was a 2nd-round pick by the Vancouver Canucks in 1973 (19th overall) who recorded 33-56—89 in 183 regular-season games with the Canucks from 1973-76.

Luke Evangelista (No. 42 overall, Nashville): His second-cousin Brendan Shanahan was a 1st-round pick by the New Jersey Devils in 1987 (2nd overall) who recorded 656-698—1,354 in 1,524 regular-season games with the Devils, St. Louis Blues, Hartford Whalers, Detroit Red Wings and New York Rangers. The two-time Stanley Cup champion and Hockey Hall of Fame member currently is the president and alternate governor of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Luke Tuch (No. 47 overall, Montreal): His brother, Alex, was a 1st-round pick by the Minnesota Wild in 2014 (18th overall) who has skated for the Vegas Golden Knights in each of the past three seasons.

Cross Hanas (No. 55 overall, Detroit): His cousin Kale Clague was a 2nd-round pick by the Los Angeles Kings in 2016 (51st overall) who appeared in four NHL games with the team in 2019-20.

Tristen Robins (No. 56 overall, San Jose): His father, Trevor, was a goaltender in the San Jose Sharks organization from 1993-94 to 1995-96.

Jack Finley (No. 57 overall, Tampa Bay): His father, Jeff, was a third-round pick by the New York Islanders in 1985 (55th overall) who patrolled the blue line for 708 career NHL games with the Islanders, Philadelphia Flyers, Winnipeg Jets, Phoenix Coyotes, New York Rangers and St. Louis Blues. Jeff currently is a scout in the Jets organization.

Daemon Hunt (No. 65 overall, Minnesota): His second-cousin Matt Calvert is a 10-season NHL veteran who skated for the Colorado Avalanche in 2019-20.

Jean-Luc Foudy (No. 75 overall, Colorado): His brother, Liam, was a 1st-round pick by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2018 (18th overall) who won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2020 World Junior Championship.

Wyatt Kaiser (No. 81 overall, Chicago): His grandfather Blane Comstock was a goaltender at Bemidji State University who represented Team USA at the 1975 World Championship and 1976 Olympic Winter Games. His uncle Earl Anderson was a 5th-round pick by the Detroit Red Wings in 1971 (58th overall) who skated in 109 career NHL games with the Red Wings and Boston Bruins.

Trevor Kuntar (No. 89 overall, Boston): His father, Les, was a goaltender who was selected in the 6th round by the Montreal Canadiens in 1987 (122nd overall) and appeared in six games with the team in 1993-94.

Oliver Tarnstrom (No. 92 overall, NY Rangers): His father, Dick, was an 11th-round pick by the New York Islanders in 1994 (272nd overall) who recorded 35-105—140 in 306 regular-season games with the Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers and Columbus Blue Jackets.

Michael Benning (No. 95 overall, Florida): His brother, Matt, was a 6th-round pick by the Boston Bruins in 2012 (175th overall) who has skated for the Edmonton Oilers in each of the past four seasons. His uncle, Jim, is the general manager of the Vancouver Canucks.

Dylan Garand (No. 103 overall, NY Rangers): His cousin Ben Betker was a 6th-round pick by the Edmonton Oilers in 2013 (158th overall) and played professionally in Slovakia in 2019-20.

Lukas Svejkovsky (No. 108 overall, Pittsburgh): His father, Jaroslav, was a 1st-round pick by the Washington Capitals in 1996 (17th overall) who appeared in 113 career regular-season games with the Capitals and Tampa Bay Lightning.

Juho Markkanen (No. 112 overall, Los Angeles): His father, Jussi, was a goaltender selected in the 5th round of the 2001 NHL Draft by the Edmonton Oilers (133rd overall). He appeared in 128 regular-season games with the Oilers and New York Rangers.

Ryder Rolston (No. 139 overall, Colorado): His father, Brian, is a Stanley Cup champion (1995 w/ NJD) who was a first-round pick of the New Jersey Devils in 1991 (11th overall) and recorded 342-419—761 in 1,256 career regular-season games with the Devils, Colorado Avalanche, Boston Bruins, Minnesota Wild and New York Islanders.

Mason Langenbrunner (No. 151 overall, Boston): His father, Jamie, is a two-time Stanley Cup Champion (1999 w/ DAL and 2003 w/ NJD) who was a second -round pick of the Dallas Stars in 1993 (35th overall) and recorded 243-420—663 in 1,109 regular-season games with the Stars, New Jersey Devils and St. Louis Blues.

Kyle Aucoin (No. 156 overall, Detroit): His father, Adrian, was a fifth-round pick by the Vancouver Canucks in 1992 (117th overall) who patrolled the blue line for 1,108 career regular-season games with the Canucks, Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Islanders, Chicago Blackhawks, Calgary Flames, Phoenix Coyotes and Columbus Blue Jackets.

Kienan Draper (No. 187 overall, Detroit): His father, Kris, is the Red Wings' assistant to the general manager and a four-time Stanley Cup champion and former Selke Trophy winner who registered 161-203—364 in 1,157 career regular-season games with the Winnipeg Jets and Red Wings. Kris was a 3rd-round pick by the Jets in 1989 (62nd overall).

Ottawa traded C Jonathan Gruden and Columbus' 2nd-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft (52nd overall, previously acquired) to Pittsburgh for G Matt Murray.

Nashville traded C Nick Bonino, New Jersey's 2nd-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft (37th overall, previously acquired) and Minnesota's 3rd-round pick in 2020 (70th overall, previously acquired) to Minnesota for C Luke Kunin and Minnesota's 4th-round pick in 2020 (101st overall).

San Jose traded its 2nd-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft (34th overall) to Buffalo for Buffalo's 2nd-round pick in 2020 (38th overall) and 4th-round pick in 2020 (100th overall).

Toronto traded its 2nd-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft (44th overall) to Ottawa for NY Islanders' 2nd-round pick in 2020 (59th overall, previously acquired) and Ottawa's 3rd-round pick in 2020 (64th overall).

Detroit traded Edmonton's 2nd-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft (45th overall, previously acquired) to Los Angeles for Vancouver's 2nd-round pick in 2020 (51st overall, previously acquired) and Los Angeles' 4th-round pick in 2020 (97th overall).
