The Academy Film Archive gives an exclusive look into the lives of classic Hollywood figures with its annual “Hollywood Home Movies: Treasures from the Academy Film Archive” event available for streaming online for the first time. The collection of home movies celebrates individuals who overcame barriers to work in the motion picture industry, with personal footage captured between the 1930s and the 1960s. Lastly, Academy archivist Sean Savage provides tips on caring for your own home movies. Original music for the program is composed and performed by Michael Mortilla.
