We don't know how we missed this one!
Oh-it came out in 2003. That's why!
Whom You Know started in 2009 and one of the most frequently featured living authors on Whom You Know is without a doubt David Baldacci. It would be so exciting to be in the Secret Service but everyone in Manhattan has had more than enough excitement from the craziness resulting from the current non-Mayor's decisions, or lack thereof.
Live it through Baldacci and in turn King and Maxwell instead!
All the world's a stage Shakespeare said in As You Like It, and that certainly holds true between these pages.
Fabulous to learn that Maxwell is a silver-medal winning Olympic Rower (Meghan Musnicki is our favorite Olympic Rower who earned the GOLD) and this whippersnapper finds herself in a similar predicament to veteran Sean King. And he was doing so well in his superclean, organized, well-appointed house on a lake in his second career as a lawyer...before all h-e-double hockey sticks breaks loose!
The predicament? We'll never tell but it is well worth finding out for yourself! Told in typical Baldacci style peeling off layers of plot, Split Second is a snappy phenomenon taking place in the mid-Atlantic outside of Washington, D.C. and a bit south as well. Though we don't personally know him we believe Baldacci is a Virginia boy and so he writes what he knows as Hemingway says one should do. You'll also learn what iron can do. There's also a Bill Martin, not to be confused with Billy Martin: superstar of Georgetown dining. You're even going to meet some Macallan. 331 even provides an Agatha Christie reference!
Supply closets, dollar bills in mouths, bathtubs, and hydrangeas, oh my!
Wouldn't you rather be driving a Buick? 400 pages flies by.
Split Second is Highly Recommended by Whom You Know.
