In this age of covid, we can all use a little more fun and imagination in life. This proven classic is the first Harry Potter movie, and our favorite actors in it are Maggie Smith and Alan Rickman. The attention to detail throughout is extraordinary and in particular, John Hurt in the wand shop was excellent. The moving mechanical staircase, the forbidden third floor and dear old Fluffy number among our favorite aspects of this super flick.
We also adore when pages of the book are shown along with the film. As this was twenty years ago, much of what was explored and successfully executed in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was completely pioneering at the time. Well-thought-out and executed to perfection, this first Harry stands up completely to the two-decade test.
You'll also learn the sorting hat secrets and many interesting extended scenes. And, it is terrifically fun to play along with the trivia and keep score: make sure you watch past the credits. Find out what part the Beatles inspired! Bien sur mes amies you will of course be entertained by the Enchanted Eats.

Synopsis
