It's not who you know it's WHOM YOU KNOW and everyone knows you meet fabulous people when you are sipping on anything at Ammos (Happy National Beverage Day! And check out their Mother's Day Menu!!!) and that is exactly how Peachy met Jay, above. Is there anything more exciting than discovering a new restaurant that pursues excellence? And in our quest to do so it is becoming more and more important to eat more vegetables so we can live forever and do this forever!
We believe we have never, ever featured a salad venue before and if we have, they were a one-hit-wonder. Bathing suit season is coming so time for the salads!
What sets Extravert apart is its dedication to quality ingredients and crafting a nutritious, delicious creation that will heighten and brighten your day. This is their first feature ever and it is hot on the heels of its sibling restaurant next to it, Little Biggs, which previously earned high accolades on its first try.
We began with Buffalo Cauliflower Salad, a true original.
Crafted with roasted cauliflower, avocado, colorful rainbow carrots, cucumber, tomatoes, cabbage, house croutons, mesclun and succulent roasted chicken, this was elevated by the bespoke buffalo vinaigrette made from apple cider vinegar, Frank's red hot sauce and evoo. It is a celebration in itself! We are immensely impressed with the level of creativity and the overall balance of ingredients.
The Salmon Avocado was absolutely our favorite.
The Salmon quality was a huge triumph and was evocative of the jubilant, exuberant name: Extravert. The Blackened Salmon from the Atlantic joined avocado, cucumber, tomato, rainbow carrots, house croutons, superb watermelon radishes-an item that really set them apart-, pickled onions, mesclun and red cabbage which was perfectly chopped. We are not big salad dressing enthusiasts usually and nearly always want it on the side however, in this case the jalapeno ranch was strikingly amazing with its dill, jalapeno and buttermilk successfully shining through.
Finally, we tried the Mediterranean Chopped Salad which screams summer in the best way. It may be raining out but your plate is sunny when you order this wonder with feta, olives, red pepper, tomato, cucumber, pickled onion and fresh greens ready to greet you and ignite your appetite!
Extravert is Highly Recommended by Whom You Know on our very first experience and we look forward to seeing what they do next.

“I began my life’s culinary journey at an early age. I have always been fascinated with food, in particular the relationships and meaningful moments created while sharing something that was prepared with love. There is something undeniably different about food that is made with just the right ingredients, prepared with care, and served when it is at its best. We are after the magic that makes people smile.
Ingredients set the stage to success. We partner with passionate suppliers we trust and build long term relationships with farmers and suppliers who share the same values of best quality, a better food system and a sustainable food future.”
