It's not who you know it's Whom You Know and we know Maria Claudio of Oath Pizza who is always on top of her pizza game making the people of Nantucket proud of her Upper East Side work. Maria is our FAVORITE and we have observed her quality work for many years: she earned this position like everyone does. We always are telling you how excellence breeds more excellence but in this case we mean it literally. When we visited Oath this time Claudia was not there, but her two daughters were!
Meet Nyasia Bacon and Mariah Guzman, each of whom did a wonderful job on this review. They are superb employees and we all know that anything boys can do, girls can do better!
You can tell they are fun and good to work with: pictures do not lie and we do not edit. You excel like Claudia and team or we do not publish.
So what is new at Oath Pizza?
Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks! They are amazing. You want extra marinara to cannonball them into and the flavor and texture are superb. Of course it is not pizza per se, but it is close and is also delicious.
Yannyick Joshua of Oath also is an enthused team member who works hard! We like his shirt and we want one of those!
This trip we also met Manager Akeem Smith who has been with Oath Pizza for a year.
There is no such thing as too much cheese and we wanted to go back to the basics with a cheese pizza. This is half regular classic cheese and half fresh mozzarella and ALL ENTICING. The chewy goodness of the crust in perfect proportion to the cheese and sauce is ideal and will silence even the loudest of people. Do not forget, Oath has a great variety of salads.
We went Greek and ordered the Greek salad which is a winner all around: Romaine, roma tomatoes, red onion, kalamata olives, banana peppers, feta, greek dressing await you.
We are big fans of custom everything.
To that end we ordered a custom salad and this was Peachy's wish list:
Roasted Cherry Tomatoes
Banana Peppers
Mushrooms
Red Onion
Artichokes
Green Peppers
Mozzarella Blend (of course Mozzarella is Peachy's favorite vegetable)
and we don't need to tell you greens are involved!
A beauty indeed:
