It's not who you know, it's WHOM YOU KNOW and we know Made in New York Pizza at 421 Amsterdam at 80th. You know how enthusiastic we are about MADE IN THE USA so imagine how much more excited we get about Made in Manhattan (New York!).
We first visited them and posted their inaugural review in February of 2022, and again visited a second Upper West side location last fall, and we look forward to seeing that again. Certainly all pizza is better in New York because of the superior water here, however, not all pizza is the same. Some is just superior, and this is one of them. It is definitely the Best on the Upper West side.'

If you are new, you should know that a Peachy's Pick is of the superior ilk of restaurants and has demonstrated a high commitment to quality over multiple experiences over time, and to remain a Peachy's Pick you have to keep up the excellence.
The sun shines on this pizza and these are totally unedited pictures as always! You excel like this premium pizza brand, or we don't say anything. The plain cheese pizza announces the quality ingredients in perfect proportion from the great plains of the tomato sauce embellished perfectly with mozzarella all grazing upon superbly crafted dough baked just right. This time we also tried their White Spinach pizza, which would please even Popeye:
You know we are all about getting in the vegetables, and what better way to do that than teamed up with Ricotta Cheese? Though simple, it is genius and delicious. This trip we were delighted to meet Manager Abanoub Hanna, a three-year veteran who has recently earned the Manager title this year:
Some topping choices are among the usual suspects like mushroom and onions, which we chose here. However, not everyone has roasted peppers of this upper echelon like Made in New York pizza, and they joined the party on the dough! This is the exact pizza Peachy chose (made to order custom.) Again, the primary winning ingredients of pizza dough, mozzarella and tomato sauce happily welcomed these three vegetables, which ultimately retired blissfully in Peachy's stomach after a quarterback pass from her palate to her pen to this keyboard.

Made in New York pizza is not a one-trick pony. They also have tremendous Cheese Calzones, above, and Chicken Rolls, below. Again, the same dough and sauce comes to the edible party, and quality ingredients welcome you to New York with elevated taste levels.
Finally, every great pizza place should have great salads and Made in New York Pizza does. Though we would like to see more options in the future, the two current options of House Salad and Caesar Salad announce they get the best vegetables even in the dead of winter and their salads have always been an equally strong point. And, they put the dressing on the side as requested by Ms. Pretty Picky. If you are hungry on the Upper West Side, you know what to do for PIZZA! It's not all the same. Some is better.
Made in New York Pizza has become a Peachy's Pick.
