#InauguralReview @tribhaanga #Tribhaanga by #RajPradhan and #NeelNeyalm #IndoNepali #234West56Street

Owner Raj Pradhan

We're always on the lookout for hot new takes on culinary endeavors in Manhattan, and we're delighted to tell you about the newest hit: Tribhaanga!  Opened in December 2022, Tribhaanga boasts an Indo-Nepali menu that is captivating and unique.  Owner Raj Pradhan began as a restaurant owner in 2010 in Nepal and this is his first restaurant in New York, located in the heart of midtown Manhattan; it's also owned by Neel Neyalm from Bangladesh.
The first impressive dish: Garlic Mushrooms!
This might have been our favorite of the night.  Cooked with garlic and butter, these exquisite mushrooms boasted tremendous flavor and are just the kind of appetizer you want as the weather cools down now.
Next, we were presented with quite a sizzler!
That steam is the truth!  It is that hot, so pay attention.
We absolutely always want our food at the temperature it is intended to be, and we were impressed with the freshness and level of attention to detail here.  Tandoori Prawn was exactly what we were looking for and if you are new to us and haven't read the other 28,000 posts, you should know we never edit pictures.  You excel like Raj, or we do not publish.
Prawn marinated with Himalayan spices and grilled in a clay oven should be your dinner tonight!
Everyone knows that in this kind of cuisine, Peachy Deegan gravitates to Chicken Biryani!!! Aptly described on the menu, it certainly is a fragrant combination of long grain basmati rice slow cooked with fresh herbs and spices and brilliantly served with a mint yogurt.  It most definitely hit the spot and is competitive with other Chicken Biryanis we have previously featured.
Legumes are essential to health, and the Jimbu Daal with its black lentils fits the bill.  Here, it is Napalese style, emblazoned with ginger, garlic and jimbu herbs.
You know that Chicken Tikka Masala is essentially the spaghetti and meatballs of Indian cuisine; the edition at Tribhaanga is absolutely knockout.  We loved every creamy bite of the boneless chicken properly simmered in a tomato and onion sauce and we endeavored to capture every last drop, especially with the perfectly fluffy Garlic Naan for our resident Garlic Naan Monster, akin to the Cookie Monster if you know him.
Tribhaanga impressed us and we look forward to seeing what they do next!
