You can never beat a classic, and all that is old is new again with the dawn of the 100th birthday of Warner Brothers, which we celebrated our 28,000th post with!  The Fugitive is celebrating its 30th birthday now, and we just saw it again and can attest that it stands up to the test of time flawlessly.  There are some amusing aspects watching this thirty years later: there are no cell phones, there are tape reels and nothing digital, and the computers are absolutely prehistoric!  However, the acting is unrivaled and the story is sensational.  It's also interesting to see how much more strictly the law was interpreted in 1993, without political implications that we see so often today.  It may be set in Chicago, but the whole world is going to love the ingenuity behind this script emblazoned on your screen by Warner Brothers!

As part of the year-long centennial celebration for the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros. Studio, the acclaimed action thriller film The Fugitive from director Andrew Davis (A Perfect Murder, Holes) will be available for purchase on 4K Ultra HD Disc and Digital for the first time on November 21.
