As a result, skin identical ceramides became the hero ingredient of CeraVe and US researchers partnered with leading dermatologists to help create a line of skincare products designed to help restore and maintain the skin barrier, specifically for those suffering from chronic skin conditions and unable to find a solution. CeraVe began as part of a pharmaceutical company that focused on Dermatology, since our debut, the brand has continued to stick to a formula-first philosophy – prioritizing a valuable product at an affordable price over costly, luxury packaging.
