#InauguralReview #TerrificTakeout #BagelPoint @bagel_point by #Owners #SamKaplan #OmarDahbali #AhmedZaid and Team!

THE MANHATTAN SPECIAL!!!!
Peachy's favorite.
They also hit a total home run with their spectacular juices:
It's not who you know and it never has been, smart cookie readers who have mastered the English language!  It's WHOM YOU KNOW!  And we know SAM KAPLAN, owner of Bagel Point and click there to see what we thought of our first visit in Brooklyn: yes you read that correctly: we liked it so much that Peachy actually left Manhattan.
We told you Sam is PEACHY, and he just got even PEACHIER by opening a brand new Bagel Point on the Upper East Side with co-owners Omar Dahbali, whom we were delighted to meet and Ahmed Zaid.
They have bagels of every persuasion and we're 99 percent certain you can get whatever your little heart desires here.  Pictures speak louder than words.
Once you enter, you'll be impressed by the level of cleanliness and if you are really lucky, you will meet Ceren Zebunn because she is the best in hospitality at this location!
Peachy loves scallion cream cheese the most, and it is done well here!  The bagels don't get any fresher than this, and the flavors that appeal to us the most are onion, garlic, plain, poppy and everything.  They even an excellent bialy; white onion comes to the party there.
Avid readers know we do not edit pictures: it looks exactly this fabulous or we do not publish.
So yes, they do straight bagels well and that is where one should start, akin to ordering a basic cheese pizza at a pizza place. But Sam has shown us he can do bagel cartwheels, and so we shall show you.
OBVIOUSLY, if you name anything Manhattan we are going to want to consume it, and we're not talking a Manhattan cocktail today: we are talking the Manhattan Special bagel: Fresh sliced salmon, cream cheese, tomato, capers and onion are a total classic and hit the spot and Peachy likes it on ONION.  This was our favorite bagel.
They are located on Lexington, so next we wanted to try the Lex Lox Special: Salmon, plain cream cheese, avocado and tomato seal the deal and Peachy liked it on POPPY.  This especially would appeal to the "avocado toast" crowd; it is truly beyond us why you would want toast when you could have this instead.
Peachy's second favorite bagel of the visit was a total surprise to us: Classic Pizza Bagel.  Cheese and marinara enhance this gorgeous one and you will absolutely become a Pizza Bagel Monster.  Words do not do this justice and really, pizza bagels never impressed us before in life before we met this one.  We cannot wait to delicately devour it in a future encore!
Notable also are the cute containers:
As you know Peachy is a Chicken Parm enthusiast, so we had to try the Chicken Parm Sandwich: panko crusted chicken cutlet, marinara and fresh mozzarella were solid; also we tried the Chicken Pesto Pizza Bagel below: grilled chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, broccoli, pesto and mixed peppers, which we liked the best especially visually.
We like juice quite a bit but would never go out for only "juice."  However, if you are going out for BAGELS, which is an excellent idea of course, you would be incredibly remiss to not try the juices which are SPECTACULAR!!!! We tried red (beet) and orange and were knocked out of the park by both.  We aspire to try all of their juices.  They are super fresh and truly amazing.
The fruit salad was a solid showing and we would love to see this brand do some green salads; if you are in Manhattan now you can see that the calendar says spring but the weather says winter so you ought to cozy up with their Chicken Noodle soup:
In the world according to Peachy, having eggs is a plus and she likes them in a Western Omelette!!! Check out how healthy those home fries are with multiple vegetables joining the usual potatoes.  Note that in our life we have most often seen cheese included in Western Omelettes everywhere but it is not automatic here: we asked for provolone to be added and we liked it a lot!
Bagel Point impressed us on our second trip and we look forward to seeing this spectacular brand new to us continue to excel.  Play it again, Sam!
