We can hear it now...Peachy, you only have been to Judy Z's once...how come it is immediately a Peachy's Pick?  
Well, we haven't worked with Mover and Shaker and Founder and Owner Robert Sayegh once, and not only in one discipline either.  Who else has owned two restaurants that have been Peachy's Picks plus creates, writes, directs and basically does everything to make a movie in the greatest city in the world?  He's entrepreneurship in Manhattan personified.
His late mother, Judy Zadrozny, the namesake of this restaurant, is obviously super proud of him and reading this from above, and this is not just any bar.
All her recipes are brought to life here.
It's authentic.
It's unique.
It's delicious.
Judy sadly passed away in March 2013, and this restaurant honors her.
They are Polish, so Rob suggested we try the Pierogies, composed of cheese and potato, and we're confident you won't find better in all of Manhattan.  Light and fluffy, four stand at attention ready to light the lamp in your stomach.  Lovely sauteed onions and sour cream join the party.
Next, meet the Judy cutlet, below!
Pan-cooked in butter, these chicken cutlets hit the spot.  It arrives in style with a side of Mac and Cheese, and they're so detail-oriented at Judy Z's that the plates are lilac and yellow, Judy's favorite colors.  Yellow is also for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Z Steak is a ten-ounce hand-cut New York Strip Steak, marinated and cooked in Judy Z's Homemade Steak Sauce!  Note if you order the steak sandwich, they use the same steak.  The Z Burger is just as good if not better, and is uniquely designed with an onion ring, crispy bacon, pepper jack cheese and the signature Judy Z Chipotle Mayo which you will find fascinating!  It was perfectly medium rare as you see below.  French fries sing back up in both cases.
Avid readers know we are huge advocates of salad, evidenced by our new column: Sensational Salad.  Avid readers also know we never edit pictures: the produce really does look this excellent at Judy Z's and how many bars can you say that for?  Meet the Village Chopped: Mozzarella, Avocado, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Onion, and Mixed Greens team up for great taste and fabulous nutrition in your diet!  It is a fabulous teammate to anything you'd dine on at Judy Z's and they listened and put the dressing on the side for Ms. Pretty Picky.  However, it is quite groundbreaking to note that she liked this outstanding Judy Z's Garlic Tarragon Dressing!
Here's another example of why this is not just any bar.
Grilled Atlantic Salmon is absolutely triumphant and you'll revel in the delicious dill sauce, seasonal vegetables and mashed potato.  It's a step above.  And even better is the Truffle Lobster Mac and Cheese!
Big chunks of lobster seal the deal here and the truffle flavor combined with cheesy goodness is absolutely going to make your day, even you, Clint Eastwood!
