It's not who you know, it's WHOM YOU KNOW and we know Sal Esposito, Owner of Il Cortile, a Peachy's Pick Since 2013 and the ninth longest restaurant we have been recommending in our history ever. It's beginning to look a lot like the holiday season, and Il Cortile is absolutely a stop you should be making when you come to New York if you visit and you are likely a fan already if you live here! If Peachy Deegan were stranded on a desert island with only one meatball, it would be this one. Composed of Beef and Pork in equal amounts, meatballs are her favorite edible at Il Cortile and you are not living your best life if you are not eating them.

Note we never edit pictures. You excel like Sal and team, or we do not publish. The truth is, dinner is gorgeous, darling, at Il Cortile and will bring success in your celebrations this holiday season! Christmas parties are winners and anything you would want to celebrate is a party at Il Cortile. Broiled with sensational lemon juice, this stellar Halibut rejoices in Saffron Risotto and Shallots, and Peachy asked to get some greens in so hers arrived amped up with nutritious sauteed spinach which elevated it further.

Is there anyone else that has a column devoted to Chicken Parm? Actions speak louder than words, and earlier this year we raved about it across the street at Buona Notte (kid sibling of Il Cortile.) Chicken Parm is total perfection at Il Cortile and if you want to win points with Peachy, this is what you should be feeding her. A total classic, the chicken is breaded perfectly and the sauce is the stuff dreams are made of and the pasta is al dente and the mozzarella is the equivalent of the cherry on top.
