#MovietimeInManhattan @WBD #JokerMovie @ladygaga @jokermovie JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY WHOM YOU KNOW @MANHATTANPEACHY #PEACHYDEEGAN Sequel to the 2019 Film Joker from Director Todd Phillips Becomes Available for Purchase and Rental

We did not see this in the theatre, and that's too bad because we loved it!  Anyone that didn't like this doesn't have the sensibility to appreciate the total creative capability of Lady Gaga that transcends art forms.   We are not even proponents of musicals as a genre, but it worked so well here and the American Songbook celebrated on the big screen reminded us of Lady Gaga's legendary performances with the late great Tony Bennett.  WE LOVE TONY BENNETT.
Obviously, we also love that the title is in French, which makes everything sound better.

Joker Folie a Deux starts off with a cartoon of Me and My Shadow but quickly flawlessly transitions into the dramatic musical that has not gotten the applause it deserves.  The mood, the color, the costumes, the script and the overall cohesive quality totally wowed us.  We loved the musical renditions in the entire 138 minutes, and previously Lady Gaga earned accolades here with A Star is Born.  Her unique visions and talent are inspirational and of the elite status she has secured in the entertainment industry.  Joaquin Phoenix continues to shine as the Joker and they have excellent chemistry together from the acting to the signing to the emotive storyline.
The only thing we did not like was the end.

Brendan Gleeson deserves high praise as well and America does not appreciate Irish acting talent as much as it should but Peachy wakes up every morning to change that.

Joker: Folie A Deux is Highly Recommended by Whom You Know and it should be a priority in your viewing schedule now.  Don't listen to anyone who didn't like it.  It's top-notch.
