#ChezPeachy @TIH_Show #ChicagoPeachy Final Day to Cover Western Hemisphere’s Largest Home + Housewares Show at Chicago’s McCormick Place The Inspired Home Show® to Conclude with Collection of Donated Products for Four Chicago Charities

The Inspired Home Show 2025 enters its last day at Chicago’s McCormick Place today. This premier global housewares marketplace brings 1,600 exhibitors and retail buyers from 100 countries to determine what will be on store shelves in the year ahead. This year marks the 125th Show, which originated in Chicago in 1939 and is produced by the International Housewares Association.

The Show is not open to the public, but media can get a sneak peek into the latest products and trends. This year’s Show will feature more than 300,000 products (more than 20,000 new) from more than 2,000 unique brands.

WHEN/WHERE: The Show began on March 2 and runs through Tuesday, March 4, 2025.(8:30 am to 5:30 pm each day in the North and South Halls of McCormick Place.)

SPECIAL EVENT – TUESDAY, MARCH 4: Giving Back to the Chicago Community

When the Show closes, 300 volunteers representing four Chicago-area charities will hit the floor to gather donated products from participating exhibitors. Charities include Habitat for Humanity ReStore Chicago and Habitat for Humanity Chicago, K9s for Veterans (Plainfield, Joliet, Chicago), Sertoma Star Services, Inc. (Alsip) and The Salvation Army (Chicago). These four local nonprofits will pack up some of the hottest new products to provide to clients or resell to support their missions.

Charities Benefitting from The Inspired Home Show Product Donation Collection

Habitat for Humanity ReStore Chicago, Habitat for Humanity Chicago

Donated items are sold to the public at discounted prices in both ReStore Chicago stores. Proceeds provide funding for the programs at Habitat for Humanity Chicago, including building affordable housing in Chicago’s Greater Grand Crossing, West Pullman and Austin neighborhoods.

K9s for Veterans, Plainfield, Joliet, Chicago

Donations will fund the pairing of two trained service dogs with Chicago veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder or traumatic brain injuries.



Sertoma Star Services, Inc., Alsip

Donations will 1) provide household items to Sertoma Centre’s community homes and day programs to support individuals with disabilities and those with mental illness and 2) be raffled off. Last year’s donation raised $80,000.



The Salvation Army, Chicago

This is by far the largest annual donated merchandise opportunity for Salvation Army. Donations are sold at more than 20 Salvation Army stores.
