The French American Entrepreneurship Award (FAEA) is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2025, and 16th, edition of its leading startup competition. It's D-Day: Apply Now to the 16th annual French American Entrepreneurship Award for startupsShare

FAEA is more than just a competition; it is a unique opportunity for startups to gain unparalleled visibility, access influential business leaders, and tap into a network that can propel their ventures forward. Winning the FAEA is a stamp of credibility that has helped previous recipients secure funding, strategic partnerships, and international recognition. Startups are evaluated for their innovative, viable, and scalable business models by a jury consisting of leading executives, entrepreneurs, seasoned investors, and FAEA partners.

Beyond cash and in-kind prizes, winners receive extensive media exposure, as well as exclusive networking opportunities with top-tier French and American business communities. “Winning the FAEA provided invaluable exposure and introduced me to the French economic community in New York at a crucial time, as I had just arrived from France. The connections I made—both professional and personal—helped me integrate quickly and opened doors that accelerated WeWard’s growth in the U.S.,” says Yves Benchimol, CEO and founder of WeWard, winner of the FAEA in June 2024. WeWard recently announced a partnership with Venus Williams, further expanding its global reach. Last year’s winners also included Yuka and Aspivix.

The FAEA is organized with the unwavering support of the most influential French business and economic organizations in the U.S., creating an ecosystem designed to help French entrepreneurs thrive:
- Business France
- The Consulate General of France in New York
- French American Chamber of Commerce New York
- BPI France
- FrenchFounders
- French Morning
- La French Tech New York
- L’Alliance New York
- The North American Committee of French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCE)
- The Lycée Français de New York
- She for S.H.E

Together, the FAEA and these organizations provide founders with the essential tools, expertise, and connections needed to navigate the U.S. market and accelerate their growth.

The success of the FAEA is made possible through the generous backing of our sponsors:
- Gold Sponsors: Corporate Suites, FrenchFounders, Pramex,
