neighborhoods ahead of Sept. 22-24 event in New York City.

This website was named after Peachy's 10th grade English class at Miss Porter's School by Mover and Shaker Rennie McQuilkin, and the newest person you should know is drumroll please, ENGLISH!!!
The star of the show this week at New York's Fashionable Coterie is without a doubt Anne Marie Holdsworth, Founder of Brodie Cashmere! We are so in love with their quality, we will honour not honor the British way of spelling in this post and not use daft American spellings like color for colour. Everyone knows Peachy is proud to be an ENGLISH American and who knows, maybe 23 and me will find a connection.

Peachy's a bit like today's Paul Revere of the internet, telling you all the amazing ways the British are coming. Of course, there's the England Peachy column. We were honored to celebrate our 27,000th post with Sir Paul McCartney and his album that he did to celebrate his 80th birthday. And earlier in our history we met Stella McCartney at The Met:

Whom You Know Celebrates Our 15,000th Post with Lilly Pulitzer by The Lifeguard Press! Life Is Better In Pink & Green! The Lilly Pulitzer Personalized Large Serving Tray Has Earned Whom You Know's Highest Recommendation.

Anyone with discriminating taste knows that the pink and green color combination is perfection, and Lilly Pulitzer made it famous.  We met her twice-one in Bloomingdale's in New York and once at our Miss Porter's reunion in Farmington-Lilly was a "9" and Peachy is a "4".  (The Bloomingdale's picture is far back in Peachy's personal archives before she had a digital camera.)  It would be a great understatement to say we admire her style; they say imitation is the best form of flattery and though we do not aim to imitate her or be a designer, we have loved everything she did.  Though we only met her those two times, Lilly was a sincerely nice person.  The above picture we mailed to her and she personally wrote back.  The returned autographed picture that's been up on Peachy's wall since the day she got it back in a pink and green grosgrain ribbon frame (Peachy made it.  Of course, the frame needed to be appropriate.)   It is signed: 
"Yeah, Team!! xx Lilly"
Yeah, team right back at you up in heaven, 15,000 times for good luck, not that you need it.
